Good morning 4B! Wow its a cold one this morning! Today we have lots of work to do on our portfolios. We will get started this morning with our parent comment page. We all need to copy our 2 stars and a wish parent form onto our wikis. We will do this together on the tv. Then we will get started on our portfolio checklist!!!
Don't forget that tomorrow is planning day so we don't have any specialists today.

This morning we have Special activities to do while our Granparents are in from 10:00am. I have posted a Grandparents day activities grid on our literacy page for you to know what order your group will do the activities in.

We are going outside for morning tea with our Grandparents at recess time...you will need to take your chair with you for your Grandparent.

This morning we have maths. We will be doing a powerpoint in front of the interative tv to show what we know on 3D shapes. At 10:00 we have PE. After recess is Literacy rotations and Ms Roberts will be joining us today, then we have writing. This afternoon is our 3-6 assembly. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning 4B! With cross country today we are going to be very small! So today while the cross country is on we are going to finish off our writing tasks, work on our digital portfolios, do our reading videos, our sustainablilty projects and some maths.

Congratulations on a wonderful effort with JSC elections yesterday and congratulations to Parker for the wonderful effort with his trumpet playing! After recess we will come in put our things away quickly and move quietly straight into the middle room please ready to hear the JSC speeches. After speeches we will vote. Please remember that we are not just voting for our friends or for the most popular. We are looking for the best person for the job!
ANZAC Activities
This afternoon we will practice our song and finish our ANZAC reflections and pictures. I will be looking for 2-3 people who have done fantastic reflections to stand up at our ANZAC Day Ceremony to share.

We start this morning with Literacy rotations, then we are doing goal setting for writing. We have cross country try outs today, so I hope everyone has their runners on.

Good morning 4B! You are lucky enough to have Miss Bloomfield working with you today. I'm around the school working with Mr Furze if you need me. I know that you will all show Miss Bloomfield what wonderful children we have here at Laurimar and will show her your best manners today.
This morning we have teambuilding activities....what makes a good teammate. We are doing a round robin where you go around your team and take a turn each. Choose the best writer to write down your teams ideas as this is 5 star work please.
We will then do weekend wraps.
After recess we have literacy. Please go to the literacy page and check the task board so that you know what your group is doing and can click on the links for any websites.
We have performing Arts before lunch and maths after lunch - 2D shapes.

Please finish writing your Holiday Happenings draft about your Holidays in you Writer's Notebook. Don't forget to use an interesting beginning and exciting ending - Juliette has a great beginning if you are stuck, ask her to share her's with you. Once you have finished your plan and draft of your Holiday Happenings you may type up your final copy on your netbook. Please save it into your Literacy folder, then you may put it on your literacy page on your wiki.
Maths - new tasks have been set for Mathletics - get on and have a look please. For those of you who can access at home these can also be completed for your homework.
Digital Portfolio - please ensure that you glogster is finished, you have created your literacy , numeracy, integrated and specialist pages.
Your team bulilding work from yesterday can be finished and you can come up with a team name and team card using a piece of coloured paper off the shelf if you have finished everything else. Please make sure that you choose the correct colour for you team.
